- Polartiy - Polarity therapy is based on the idea that a person's health and well being are determined by the natural flow of energy through the body. Polarity refers to the positive and negative charges of the body's electromagnetic energy field. Practitioners use touch, movement, and other methods to help this energy flow
- SWEDISH MASSAGE - Still the most popular massage today, Swedish massage techniques leave the body relaxed and rested. Using lighter, rhythmic strokes, Swedish massages are enjoyed by people of all ages and lifestyles. Swedish massage includes long, relaxing strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking motions. It is effective for most ailments, because massaging the skin, the body's largest organ, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well-being. Swedish massage helps release the body of unwanted strain and stress. Your body will feel rested and your mind will be at ease from this healthful, pampering experience
- Deep Tissue - A Deep Tissue Massage requires work to realign ligaments and fascia. Integrated with the basic Swedish massage and trigger points, the Deep Tissue Massage can effectively manipulate problematic areas. Some people may be sore for up to 48 hours after a Deep Tissue Massage
- Reflexology - Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hand. This is done with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body
- Pregnancy Massage - What is pregnancy massage? Pregnancy massage is massage therapy specifically tailored for the expectant mothers needs. It is also called pre-natal massage. How is pregnancy massage different from regular massage? The mother's body must be properly positioned and supported during the massage, using pillows and padding. Proper positioning ensures comfort and safety for the mother and baby. Also, some massage techniques, such as deep tissue work, cannot be used. Certain areas of the body should be avoided during pregnancy
- Hydrotherapy - Hydrotherapy is the use of water to revitalize, maintain, and restore health. Hydrotherapy treatment includes an application of cold or hot water compresses for muscle relaxation with a combination of massage
- Neuromuscular - This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system. In a healthy individual, nerves transmit impulses (which are responsible for every movement, function and thought) to the body very slowly. Injury, trauma, postural distortion or stress cause nerves to speed up their transmission, inhibiting equilibrium and making the body vulnerable to pain and dysfunction. It is therefore necessary to stabilize low levels of neurological activity to maintain normal function and overall health
- Trigger Point - Trigger Point applies pressure to specific points and areas of a muscle that refers pain sensations to other parts of the body. This leads to immediate release of tension and improved muscular functioning
