When originally opened in August 2007, Indigo's name was Blue Smoke Bar & Grill and its flavors focused on Southern BBQ. Now a year later, Blue Smoke has changed its name to Indigo and the taste (though some entrees are still deliciously bbq based!) is a little more defined as fresh, local, simple and just what the neighborhood wanted.

Located in the Shoppes of Hamilton in downtown Hamilton, Indigo has become a favorite spot for families, professionals, friends and socialites. Its accommodating location next to Crosby's market, several shops and the train station is a "no brainer" for lunch and dinner clientele.

Indigo has a food and drink selection to please everyone's palate. Get dolled up and enjoy a glass of Rose paired with a Rotisserie Chicken and Arugula Salad. Or, throw on a pair of flip flops and order a cold Pabst on tap served up with Atomic Hot Buffalo Wings. Needless to say, Indigo's menu doesn't discriminate and welcomes everyone's tastes. And kids love it too! It's not uncommon to see families dining with shin guards and bbq stained jersey's.

Indigo features an open kitchen so the experience of dining out isn't left in the dining room. The staff is friendly, the bar is GORGEOUS and the food is top notch.
