The exposed brick and red cherry bar at Alchemy is so inviting that the Fisherman's Brew on tap and signature cocktails practically call the name of each customer as they walk in the door. Paintings representative of both local Gloucester and far away Cuba line the deep purple and golden walls. The library of books and Buddha statues encompass a living room complete with coffee table and cozy leather couches. Private nooks and bistro type seating provide an upscale family style ambiance.

The staff is always friendly and led by host and General Manager, Jenn, who treats both frequent guests and first time visitors as if they were lifelong friends.
