The producers wish to thank all the musicians for stellar performances, the food vendors for their exceptionally good quality and variety of food and our sponsors for empowering us to bring this free concert to the people of Gloucester. Unfortunately Gerald French's house was seriously damaged by Hurricane Gustav and he was not able to join us. Gerald will make it up to Gloucester by appearing with Henri Smith and Grammy award winning saxophonist Charles Neville at a special concert on October 12, 2008 at Blackburn Performing Arts. Gerald The Giant French will make an exclusive appearance both on drums and then dancing in his hand-made Wild Magnolias New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian suit. Ethnic and regional cuisine from local restaurants, including Jambalaya from Elliott’s, Sushi from Lat 43, Valentino’s Pizza, Ipswich Clambake Company, Kettle Corn, Fried Dough, Cotton Candy, Slush and more will be available for purchase. Meet the Performers and Capt. Iain Kerr, Ocean Alliance CEO, at a special Save the Paint Factory Pre-Party Wine & Beer Tasting Fundraiser at Elliott’s at the Blackburn on Saturday, September 6th 3-5pm.
